The DEWA Public Safety Team is a civilian nonprofit public-safety initiative of Directed Energy Weapons Agency, Inc.
We are building a team of veterans, retired police officers, first responders, public-safety professionals, and others with relevant experience who want to continue serving their communities and help strengthen our growing organization.
Who We Are Seeking
We welcome individuals with backgrounds in:
- Veterans and former military personnel
- Retired police officers
- Retired firefighters and EMTs
- Emergency-management professionals
- Security and national-security professionals
- Retired corrections and public-safety personnel
- Investigators and other experienced public-service professionals
- Other community-minded individuals with relevant experience
Ways You Can Help
Members of the DEWA Public Safety Team may assist with:
- Community outreach
- Public-safety education
- Case documentation and review
- Resource development
- Training development
- Community partnerships
- Organizational planning
- Fundraising and outreach
- Helping us establish a future physical location
- Connecting DEWA with public-safety, veteran, medical, and community resources
Assignments may vary depending on each team member’s experience, interests, skills, and availability.
Important to Know
This is a civilian nonprofit public-safety team. Members are not police officers and do not have police powers.
The DEWA Public Safety Team supports outreach, education, documentation, planning, referrals, resource development, and community service.
Team members do not make arrests, conduct searches, detain individuals, or exercise government law-enforcement authority.
